Founded in 1950, by Monsignor James A. Caulfield, St. Jane Frances de Chantal Parish is a community of nearly 2,000 families from many backgrounds and of varied professional lives and interests. Its primary purpose is to enable its parishioners to live the life of Jesus Christ, to share their God-given talents for the benefit of each other and of society, and to pass on to their children the rich gift of their Catholic Faith.
This weekend after Mass, the Pro-Life Committee will be gathering signatures to petition a ballot referendum, on 2 provisions within the Abortion Care Access Act (HB937), which includes – allowing non-physicians to perform surgical abortions throughout all 9 months of pregnancy. After Mass, we urge all Maryland registered voters to stop by the table in the Narthex and sign the petition to bring these provisions to referendum. Click to learn more!
All are invited to attend in the next meeting on the Pro-Life Committee Speaker Series on May 18, 7:30 pm in Caulfield Hall. Our guest speaker for the month of May will be Budne Reinke, who directs the Gabriel Project for Montgomery County.
All Parishioners are welcome to share fellowship, coffee and donuts in Caulfield Hall immediately following the 8:00am Mass on Sunday, March 27th. Additional monthly gatherings will be announced in the weeks to come. Per County guidance, face coverings are optional at this time.
Brother Maximilian Maria Jaskowak, O.P. will be ordained to the priesthood on Saturday May 21, 2022. Join us as he celebrates his first Mass here at St. Jane de Chantal Church on Sunday, May 22, at 10:00 am. The Mass will also be livestreamed. Immediately following the Mass, join us at Caulfield Hall for a short reception in celebration of then, Reverend Father Max's ordination. All are welcome. Face Coverings are optional.
