THE ARCHDIOCESE OF WASHINGTON ANNUAL APPEAL          

Gifts to the Annual Appeal support social service programs such as homeless shelters and food programs, provide aid to Catholic schools and tuition assistance for students to attend Catholic schools, fund special ministries and apostolates, and support outreach programs including Chaplains for campus ministries and hospitals. Priority is given those projects and programs not directly funded by parishes and to efforts serving people with the greatest needs, both physical and spiritual.
