Begining September of each year, the choir lead the congregation in music every Sunday at the 10am Mass until Corpus Christi. The choir also sing for various extra services and para-liturgical events such as the All Souls Liturgy, Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and the Easter Triduum.
Choir is open to yourg-adults and adults who would like to support the parish life, sharing their gift of music and making an exiting experience. Please contact the Director of Music for more info.

The Handbell Ensemble is a low time commitment group and is perfect for those of you who may still be too timid to sing in a choir. While the ability to read music at a basic level is preferred, it is not mandatory. We would love to have you!
The Contemporary Ensemble provides musical leadership through contemporary song and praise at the Sunday 5pm Mass with a 4pm rehearsal prior to Mass. Membership in the ensemble is open to anyone, especially teens, young adults, and families. With no weekly rehearsal obligation, this choir is perfect for busy working professionals who want to share their musical gifts but are unable to commit to a weekday rehearsal. In addition to singers, instrumentalists are encouraged to join, as well. For more information, contact Patrice Roe.
The primary role of the Cantor is to proclaim the Responsorial Psalm at Mass. Cantors also sing the verse to the Gospel Acclamation, as well as verses to the music during the Communion Procession. In addition, Cantors sing hymns and service music with the congregation.
Cantors are not soloists, they are proclaimers of the Word. Just as lectors read, cantors sing.
The goal of the cantor is not to overpower the congregation, but to blend with them in sung prayer.
The Cantor ministry is open to qualified singers by audition.

The pipe organ at Saint Jane Frances de Chantal Church provides the foundation for a vibrant and inclusive music ministry. It was designed and assembled by the Lively Fulcher company of Rocky Mount, Virginia. The casework, console, and mechanical components were built by QLF organ supply and the metal pipes made by Laukhuff of Weikersheim, Germany. It follows a design scheme very similar to other instruments assembled by Lively Fulcher.
One of the hallmarks of this vibrant and growing parish community is its celebration of the sacred in artistic expression. Sacred Music in a Sacred Space and musical programming at Saint Jane DeChantal Church is underwritten, in large part, by the generosity of the Friends of Music @ St. Jane DeChantal.
Please consider making a contribution to this musical ministry, benefiting both the parish and the wider community. All gifts are tax deductable and based on the program year.
